Panko-crusted tofu tossed with veggies and toasted sesame dressing makes for an Asian-inspired (and just plain inspired!) salad for four.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/2 cup KRAFT Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing, divided
1 lb. tofu, cut into 8 thin rectangles
1 pkt. SHAKE ‘N BAKE Seasoned Panko Seasoned Coating Mix
2 Tbsp. oil, divided
4 cups loosely packed torn mixed salad greens
1 cup chopped cucumber s
1/2 cup shredded carrot s
1/2 cup pea pods, trimmed, cut lengthwise into strips

Drizzle 1/4 cup dressing over tofu in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat both sides of each tofu piece. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
Remove tofu from marinade; discard marinade. Empty coating mix into pie plate. Add tofu, 1 piece at a time; turn to evenly coat tofu with coating mix.
Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add half the tofu pieces; cook 1 to 2 min. on each side or golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining oil and tofu.
Toss remaining ingredients with remaining dressing Serve with tofu.
To cut down on the prep time, purchase ready-to-use cut-up vegetables from the salad bar of your grocery store to use to quickly assemble salads or side dishes.
Look for cucumbers that are dark green and firm; small bumps on the skin is normal.
Storing & Preparing Fresh Pea Pods
Store fresh pea pods, unwashed, in a perforated plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Rinse with cold water just before using, then snap off the stem end of each pod and pull down along the edge of the pod to remove any strings. Cook as desired.
