Marinating the pork chops in fresh lemon juice, adobo seasoning and honey gives the flavors in these BBQ sandwiches a sweet head start.

Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. adobo seasoning
2 tsp. honey
1/2 cup KRAFT Sweet Honey Barbecue Sauce, divided
4 boneless pork chop s (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
1 large onion, cut into 4 slices
4 ciabatta sandwich roll s, split
4 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, cut into 4 slices

Mix first 3 ingredients in shallow dish. Add chops; turn chops over to evenly coat. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.

Heat grill to medium heat. Reserve 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for later use. Remove chops from marinade; discard marinade. Grill chops 3 min. on each side. Brush with half the remaining barbecue sauce. Grill 2 to 3 min. on each side or until chops are done (145°F), brushing occasionally with remaining barbecue sauce. Remove chops from grill; let stand 3 min. Meanwhile, grill onions 2 min. on each side.

Spread rolls with reserved barbecue sauce; fill with chops, onions, lettuce and tomatoes.

Prepare using onion rolls.

Add 1/2 to 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce to reserved barbecue sauce before spreading onto rolls.
