How to Evenly Split the Focaccia Bread
Insert wooden toothpicks, 1 inch from bottom of bread loaf, into opposite sides of loaf. Use long serrated knife to cut bread horizontally in half, using the toothpicks as a guide. Remove and discard toothpicks.
For extra crunch and flavor, add 1/4 cup chopped giardiniera or a few sliced pepperoncini peppers to the red pepper mixture before using as directed.
