You know what an Inside-Out Caramel-Dipped Apple is, right? Basically, it's an apple filled with caramel. And it's as delicious as you'd think.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 10 servings
5 apples (1-1/2 lb.), washed, well dried
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 pkg. (11 oz.) KRAFT Caramels
2 Tbsp. water

Let's Make It
Cut apples lengthwise in half. Use melon baller to remove inside of each apple, leaving 3/4-inch-thick shell. Brush cut sides of apples with lemon juice.
Microwave caramels and water in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after each minute. Cool 5 min.
Use paper towel to blot moisture from insides of apples; fill with caramel sauce.
Refrigerate 30 min. or until caramel filling is firm. Cut into wedges to serve.
