It'll begin to smell a lot like Christmas as your kitchen fills with the aroma of cinnamon-spiced sugar cookies.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 2 servings
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup raw sugar
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. (4 oz.) sprinkles

Let's Make It
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Add cream cheese, butter, and sugar into a bowl together and blend with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well.
Add in nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, then stir in flour and baking soda to batter and mix well. Keep mixing until dough forms.
Form 24 dough balls. and lightly flatten to about 1/2 inch thickness and about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Alternatively, place dough onto lightly floured surface and flatten with rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thickness, and cut out holiday shapes with 3 inch cookie cutters. Place cookies onto greased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Top with sprinkles.
Bake cookies for 10 minutes at 350º F, then remove from heat and allow to completely cool before serving.
Add more or less nutmeg and cinnamon depending on taste
Add frosting or chocolate candies onto cookies after step 5, when cookies have fully cooled.
