What You Need
Original recipe yields 10 servings
1 lb. Italian sausage links, sliced
1 small onion, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into thin slices
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 pkg. (32 oz.) ORE-IDA TATER TOTS
1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Cook sausage in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Add onions and peppers; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally.
Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with TATER TOTS; cover with pasta sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 40 min. or until heated through. Let stand 5 min. before serving.
Serve this main dish with a mixed green salad for a quick-and-tasty weekday meal.
Prepare using crumbled bulk Italian sausage. Or, prepare using your favorite variety of sliced Italian sausage, such as hot or sweet.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
