When it comes to comfort food, it's hard to beat a casserole topped with ORE-IDA TATER TOTS! This chicken-and-veggie pie does the trick, easily.

Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen vegetable blend (broccoli, corn, red peppers)
1/2 cup ORE-IDA Chopped Onions
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
4 cups (1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.) ORE-IDA TATER TOTS

Heat oven to 375°F.

Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add frozen mixed vegetables and onions; cook 3 min., stirring occasionally. Add chicken, soup, milk and thyme; mix well. Cook 3 min., stirring occasionally.

Spoon into 11x7-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with TATER TOTS.

Bake 45 min. or until chicken mixture is heated through and TATER TOTS are golden brown.
