4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 cup ORE-IDA Chopped Onions
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp. JACK DANIEL'S Barbecue Sauce HONEY SMOKEHOUSE
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
4 green onions, sliced

Microwave potatoes as directed on package. (Do not mash.)
Meanwhile, cook and stir bacon in medium skillet on medium heat until crisp. Add onions and sugar; mix well. Cook 1 min., stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
Place potatoes in large bowl. Add butter, milk and barbecue sauce; mash until ingredients are well blended and potatoes are mashed to desired consistency. Add cheese, onions and bacon mixture; mix well.
Serve this potato side dish with a crisp, mixed green salad or hot steamed vegetable and cooked lean meat, poultry or fish.
Prepare using KRAFT Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese with Jalapeno Peppers.
Garnish with an additional sliced green onion before serving.
