What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup ORE-IDA Chopped Onions
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1-1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/8 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. dried thyme leaves
8 TACO BELL® Crunchy Taco Shell s, warmed
3/4 cup shredded lettuce
1 large plum tomato, chopped
1 cup KRAFT Finely Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Let's Make It
Brown meat with onions in large skillet; drain.
Return meat mixture to skillet. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; mix well. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
Fill taco shells with meat mixture; top with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
Substitute 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning for the basil, oregano and thyme.
