This casserole for a crowd starts with a French bread baguette and Italian sausage and just gets increasingly delicious from there.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1 French bread baguette (8 oz.), cut into 1-inch cubes (about 5 cups)
1 lb. no-salt-added condensed cream of chicken soup, cooked, drained
1-1/2 cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Italian* Three Cheese Blend
1/2 cup each chopped green pepper s and onions
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese
2 cups fat-free milk
10 egg s, beaten

Let's Make It
Layer half each of the bread cubes, sausage, shredded cheese and vegetables in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; repeat layers.
Microwave Neufchatel in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 to 40 sec. or until softened; whisk until creamy. Gradually add milk, about 1/4 cup at a time, whisking after each addition until blended. Whisk in eggs. Pour over ingredients in baking dish; cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight.
Heat oven to 350ºF. Bake casserole (covered) 50 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean, uncovering for the last 20 min.
Serve with fresh fruit to round out the meal.
Substitute 2-1/2 cups cholesterol-free egg product for the fresh eggs.
Substitute 1 cup thawed frozen bell pepper and onion strips for the chopped fresh vegetables.
