Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup HEINZ 57 Sauce

Heat oven to 350°F.
Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Return meat to skillet. Add onions; cook 5 min., stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
Reserve 1/2 cup cheese. Add remaining cheese and all remaining ingredients to meat mixture; mix well. Spoon into 11x8-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with reserved cheese. Cover.
Bake 30 to 40 min. or until heated through.
Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.
Prepare using your favorite cooked small shaped pasta, such as rotini or penne.
