Original recipe yields 4 servings
4 large green pepper s
1 pkg. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Queso Blanco Mild Cheese Sauce and Shell Pasta
1 1/2 cups chopped fully cooked ham
1 can (14.5 oz.) fire-roasted diced tomatoes with garlic, undrained, divided
2 green onion thinly sliced
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Jalapeño Cheese

Heat oven to 375°F.
Cut tops off peppers; discard tops or reserve for another use. Remove and discard seeds and membranes from insides of peppers.
Prepare Shell Pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, adding peppers to the boiling water for the last 5 min. Remove peppers from water with tongs; drain. Drain shell pasta; return to saucepan.
Stand peppers in 2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray. Add Cheese Sauce, ham, 1/2 cup tomatoes and onions to pasta; mix lightly. Spoon into peppers; top with remaining tomatoes. Cover.
Bake 15 to 20 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with shredded cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted.
Substitute chopped cooked chicken or turkey for the ham.
