Let's Make It
Heat grill to medium-high heat.
Thread chicken, pineapple and vegetables alternately onto 16 skewers.
Mix barbecue sauce and syrup. Reserve half for later use; brush kabobs with remaining barbecue sauce mixture.
Grill kabobs 12 to 15 min. or until chicken is done, turning after 6 min. and brushing with reserved barbecue sauce mixture for the last 2 min.
If using wooden skewers, soak skewers in water for 30 min. before using to assemble kabobs to prevent them from burning on the grill.
The sweet maple syrup and tangy barbecue sauce complement each other in these easy-to-make low-calorie, low- fat and low-sodium kabobs. And since they're also high in vitamin C from the pineapple and peppers, you can feel good about serving them to your friends and family.
