Original recipe yields 8 servings
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
2 Tbsp. HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. HEINZ Yellow Mustard
1/4 tsp. cumin seed
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
8 bone-in skinless chicken thighs (about 3 lb.)

Let's Make It
Heat grill to medium heat.
Bring sugar, onions, vinegar, garlic, mustard, and cumin to boil in small saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; set aside.
Combine paprika, thyme and pepper; rub onto chicken.
Grill chicken 15 min. on each side. Brush with sauce mixture; grill 3 to 5 min. or until done (165°F), turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce mixture.
Prepare sauce mixture up to 2 days before serving. Refrigerate until ready to use.
How to Prepare in the Broiler
Heat broiler. Place chicken on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 10 min. on each side. Brush with sauce mixture; broil 3 to 5 min. or until done (165°F), turning and brushing occasionally with remaining sauce mixture.
