Whip up this tasty Indian Rice with Sesame and Paneer for part of your lunch or dinner. This Indian rice is easy to make and has great sesame flavor!
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 Tbsp. oil
7 oz. paneer cheese, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 Tbsp. minced gingerroot
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
4 cups cooked basmati rice
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup KRAFT Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing
2 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
2 Tbsp. unseasoned rice vinegar

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on high heat.
Add cheese, onions, green peppers, bell peppers, carrots, ginger, garlic and crushed red pepper; cook and stir 7 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Stir in all remaining ingredients; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. until heated through.
Prepare using whatever vegetables you have on hand, such as broccoli, cabbage, peas and/or mushrooms.
How to Cook Basmati Rice
Bring 4 cups water to boil in large saucepan on high heat. Meanwhile, rinse 1 cup basmati rice. Add rice to boiling water; simmer on medium heat 10 min. or just until rice is tender. Drain rice; spread onto baking sheet; cool completely. Use as directed in recipe.
Substitute farmer cheese, Halloumi cheese or extra-firm tofu for the paneer.
