What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
2 round white cake layers with multicolored sprinkles (9 inch)
2 cups boiling water, divided
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
2 Tbsp. multi-colored sprinkles

Let's Make It
Place cakes, top sides up, in clean 9-inch round pans. Pierce with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
Add 1 cup boiling water to each flavor dry gelatin mix in separate small bowls; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour lemon gelatin slowly over half of each cake. Pour raspberry gelatin over remaining cake. Refrigerate 3 hours.
Dip bottoms of cake pans in warm water 10 sec.; unmold 1 cake layer on plate. Spread with 1 cup COOL WHIP. Unmold second cake layer; carefully place on first cake layer, making sure colors don't line up. Frost top and side of cake with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with sprinkles just before serving.
How to Store
Prepare using COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.
Substitute JELL-O Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin for the Raspberry Gelatin.
When pouring gelatin on cake layers, a little overlap is fine; it will create a third color.
