Let's Make It
Mix first 5 ingredients until blended.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions and green peppers; cook and stir 3 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove from skillet; set aside. Add chops to skillet; cook 3 to 5 min. on each side or until chops are evenly browned on both sides.
Add barbecue sauce mixture and vegetables to skillet; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until chops are done (145ºF). Remove from heat. Let stand 3 min. before serving.
Pan-Broiling or Pan-Frying Meat
Pan-broiling and pan-frying are great ways to cook steaks and chops indoors. The meat should be no more than 1 inch thick and trimmed of excess fat. Use a heavy-bottomed skillet to brown the meat evenly. The pan should be very hot before adding the meat so that the meat will sear on the outside. Use tongs or a spatula to turn the meat to cook the other side. Check meat doneness with an instant-read thermometer before serving.
Instead of the traditional rice and peas, serve these flavorful chops with a fresh spinach salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing and a sprinkle of your favorite chopped PLANTERS Nuts.
