What You Need
Original recipe yields 5 servings
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
1/4 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion s
1 egg, beaten
10 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 425°F.
Mix meat, 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce, bread crumbs, onions and egg just until blended. Shape into 5 meatballs, using about 1/2 cup meat mixture for each.
Make an "X" with 2 bacon slices; place meatball in center of "X". Bring ends of bacon up loosely over top; secure with toothpick. Place on rimmed baking sheet. Repeat with remaining meatballs and bacon.
Bake 40 min. or until done (160°F). Brush with remaining barbecue sauce; bake 5 min. Remove and discard toothpicks before serving.
Use Your Grill
Heat grill for indirect grilling. Light one side of grill, leaving other side unlit. Close lid; heat grill to 425°F. Prepare and wrap meatballs as directed; place in single layer in disposable foil pan. Place pan on grill grate over unlit area; cover. Grill 40 min. or until meatballs are done, monitoring grill for consistent temperature. Brush with remaining barbecue sauce; cover. Grill 5 min. or until golden brown.
