1 cup HEINZ Distilled White Vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 Thai chile, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. water, divided
2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Combine first 5 ingredients and 3/4 cup water in saucepan. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring frequently.

Mix cornstarch with remaining water until blended. Add to ingredients in saucepan; stir. Cook 3 to 5 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool.

Refrigerate 1 hour.
