Combine ripe blueberries with the flavors of orange and lemon for these Blueberry Citrus Cookie Bars. These cookie bars are delightful on a summer day.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 25 servings
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. each lemon and orange zest
1/2 cup blueberries
2 oz. BAKER'S White Chocolate, broken into small pieces

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Add butter, lemon zest and lemon zest; mix well.
Press flour mixture onto bottom of 8-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray; top with blueberries. Press gently into crust to secure.
Bake 24 to 26 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Turn oven off. Let dessert stand in oven 5 to 8 min. or until edges are golden brown. Remove from oven; cool completely.
Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over dessert. Let stand until glaze is firm before cutting dessert into squares.

The crust mixture will be crumbly before pressing onto bottom of prepared pan. For best results, be sure to press the flour mixture into an even layer, completely covering bottom of pan before topping with the blueberries and baking as directed.
