What You Need
Original recipe yields 48 servings
2 cups KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup finely chopped toasted PLANTERS Walnuts, divided
1/4 cup ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
1/2 cup fig jam
48 sprigs fresh thyme

Heat oven to 400ºF.
Spoon 2 tsp. Parmesan onto parchment-covered baking sheet; spread to form 1-1/2-inch circle. Repeat to make 12 circles on each of 4 prepared baking sheets. (You will have 48 circles.)
Bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Cool completely on baking sheets.
Meanwhile, beat whipping cream in large bowl with mixer on high speed until soft peaks form; spoon into separate bowl. Beat cream cheese in same large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add 1/4 cup nuts; mix well. Stir in blue cheese. Gently stir in whipped cream.
Transfer Parmesan crisps carefully from baking sheets to platter. Spoon or pipe scant 1 tsp. cream cheese mixture onto each crisp; top with 1/2 tsp. jam. Finely chop remaining nuts; sprinkle over Parmesan crisps along with the thyme.
Serve as a crisp side along with your favorite mixed green salad.
Parmesan crisps can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
Prepare using apple preserves and pecans for another complementary fruit and nut pairing.
