What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1-1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
2 cups oil for frying
6 beef cube steak s (1-1/2 lb.)
1 jar (12 oz.) HEINZ HomeStyle Sausage Gravy

Let's Make It
Combine flour, paprika and pepper in shallow dish. Beat egg and milk in separate shallow dish until blended. Heat oil in large deep skillet on medium heat to 350°F.
Dip steaks in flour mixture, then in egg mixture and then again in flour mixture to coat both sides. Add steaks to oil in skillet, in batches; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown and done.
Heat gravy in a small saucepan until heated through; spoon over steaks.
How to Tell When the Steaks are Done
The steaks are done when they are stiff when lifted with a pair of tongs.
Serve with hot mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
