What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
1 qt. (4 cups) water
1 can (15-1/2 oz.) great Northern beans, rinsed
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes with garlic and onion, undrained
2 carrots, peeled, cut into thin slices
1 small turnip, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup quick-cooking barley, uncooked
1 WYLER'S Instant Bouillon Chicken Flavored Cube
1/4 cup OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits

Let's Make It
Bring all ingredients except bacon to boil in large saucepan, stirring occasionally.
Simmer on medium-low heat 30 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally and covering pan after 15 min.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Substitute cannellini beans for the great Northern beans.
Season to taste with hot pepper sauce.
Add 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning with ingredients before cooking. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese before serving.
