What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
2 lb. beef stew meat
1 onion, chopped
2 cans (10-1/2 oz. each) condensed cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic
1/3 cup water
1 can (8 oz.) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
2 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 pkg. (12 oz.) egg noodles, uncooked
1 container (8 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Place meat in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; top with onions. Combine soups, water, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Pour over ingredients in slow cooker. Cover with lid.
Cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 3-1/2 hours).
Cook noodles as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Stir sour cream into meat; serve over noodles.
Substitute boneless skinless chicken thighs for the beef stew meat.
