3-1/2 lb. red potatoes (about 10), peeled, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped red pepper s
1/4 cup OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits
1-1/2 tsp. minced roasted garlic (jarred)
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
4-1/2 cups fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup whipping cream
4 green onions, thinly sliced, divided

Combine potatoes, red peppers, bacon, garlic and black pepper in slow cooker sprayed with slow cooker. Pour broth over ingredients in slow cooker; cover with lid.
Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).
Mash potatoes lightly with potato masher. Stir in cheese, whipping cream and 1/4 cup onions. Sprinkle with remaining onions.
Prepare using 2-1/2 lb. red potatoes and 1 lb. sweet potatoes.
Serve with crusty whole wheat rolls.
