2-1/2 cups vegetable broth
1 cup dry red lentil s, rinsed
1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
1 Tbsp. oil
1/2 cup chopped onion s
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. minced gingerroot
1/2 tsp. cumin seed
1 tsp. garam masala
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

Combine first 3 ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to boil on high heat, stirring occasionally and skimming top to remove foam. Cover; simmer on low heat 15 min. or until lentils are tender.

Meanwhile, heat oil in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, ginger and cumin; cook and stir 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender. Stir in seasonings; cook 1 min.

Stir into lentils with dressing and cilantro; cook 1 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
