What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. chopped yellow onion s
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup CLASSICO Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce
1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper, divided
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 lb. linguine, uncooked
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thick strips
1/4 cup flour
3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Let's Make It
Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add yellow onions and garlic; cook and stir 1 min. or until onions are crisp-tender. Add chicken broth, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp. black pepper and crushed red pepper. Simmer on low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally. (Do not boil.)
Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Sprinkle chicken with remaining pepper and dust with flour. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 min. or until chicken is done. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
Heat remaining oil in same skillet on medium heat. Add red onions and bell peppers; cook and stir 2 to 4 min. or until softened.
Toss pasta with half the garlic sauce in large bowl. Add red onions and bell peppers; mix lightly. Serve pasta topped with chicken, remaining garlic sauce and cheese.
Prepare using chicken tenders.
Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley.
Prepare using CLASSICO Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce.
