Original recipe yields 8 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 pkg. (1 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup water
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
4 cups (1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.) ORE-IDA TATER TOTS
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Heat oven to 375ºF.
Brown meat with onions and peppers in large skillet; drain. Add seasoning mix and water; cook as directed on seasoning package. Stir in corn; spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish.
Mix salsa and tomato pasta; spread over meat mixture. Arrange TATER TOTS in single layer over salsa mixture.
Bake 40 to 45 min. or until potatoes are lightly browned and mixture is bubbly, sprinkling with cheese for last 5 min.
Prepare using KRAFT Shredded Jalapeño Cheese if you prefer a spicier flavor.
Prepare using no salt added tomato paste.
