What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
8 slices Texas toast white sandwich bread
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. garlic powder, divided
8 tsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided

Let's Make It
Spread both sides of each bread slice with butter; sprinkle both sides with garlic powder.
Broil half the bread slices 2 to 3 min. or until golden brown. Remove from heat; turn bread over. Sprinkle with half the cheese. Broil 2 to 3 min or until golden brown.
Repeat with remaining bread slices and cheese.
Substitute margarine for the butter.
Mix 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley with the cheese before sprinkling on bread.

Purchase an un-cut loaf of white bread; cut 8 (1 inch thick) slices and prepare recipe as directed.
