Make our Toasted Coconut Granola with the family for a fun treat. This slightly sweet coconut granola is almost as fun to prepare as it is to eat!
What You Need
Original recipe yields 14 servings
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
3-1/2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut
1 cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup ground flax seed

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 350ºF.
Microwave first 3 ingredients in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until butter is melted; stir until blended. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Spread onto rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 20 to 25 min. or until lightly browned, carefully stirring after 10 min. Cool completely.
Looking for something sweet? One serving of this crunchy granola will hit the spot when served with a cold glass of fat-free milk.
Substitute agave syrup for the brown sugar.
Substitute raisins or chopped mixed dried fruit for the cranberries.
How to Store
Store cooled granola in airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
