Original recipe yields 18 servings
3/4 cup milk
10 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
3-1/2 cups flour, divided
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup plus 3 Tbsp. honey, divided
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg s, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Cook milk and 1/2 cup (8 Tbsp.) butter in saucepan on low heat until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.

Place 2 cups flour, yeast and salt in large bowl. Add milk mixture, 1/3 cup honey and vanilla; beat with mixer until blended. Add 3 eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in enough of the remaining flour until mixture forms soft dough.

Place dough on lightly floured surface; knead 5 min. or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl. Melt remaining butter; brush onto dough. Cover. Let rise in warm place 1-1/2 hours or until doubled in volume.

Separate remaining egg; reserve egg white for later use. Mix egg yolk with cream cheese and sugar until blended. Punch down dough. Place on floured surface; roll into 18x12-inch rectangle; spread with cream cheese mixture to within 1 inch of edges.

Roll up dough, starting at one long side; press edges together to seal. Cut into 18 (1-inch-thick) slices; place, 1 inch apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Flatten each into 4-inch round; cover. Let rise in warm place 45 min. or until doubled in volume.

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly beat reserved egg white; brush onto dough.

Bake 15 to 20 min. or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks; cool slightly. Drizzle with remaining honey. Serve warm.

These delicious buns can be prepared ahead of time. Cool completely, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, wrap buns loosely in foil, then bake in 350°F oven 15 min. or just until warmed.

Sprinkle warm buns with 1/4 cup of your favorite chopped PLANTERS Nuts, such as Walnuts or Pecans, immediately after drizzling with the remaining honey.
