Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
6 chicken drumsticks (1 lb.)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 small onion, sliced
1 jar (24 oz.) OLIVO by CLASSICO Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce
3 cups penne pasta, uncooked
1 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Sprinkle crushed pepper onto drumsticks. Heat oil in large deep skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 4 min. on each side or until drumsticks are evenly browned on both sides. Remove drumsticks from skillet; cover to keep warm.
Add vegetables to same skillet; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in pasta sauce.
Return chicken to skillet. Bring pasta sauce mixture to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 45 min. to 1 hour or until chicken is done (165°F). About 15 min. before chicken is done, cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
Drain pasta; place on platter. Top with chicken, pasta sauce mixture and cheese.
Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
