What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 cups water
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 oz.) fire-roasted diced tomatoes with garlic, undrained
1 Tbsp. dried Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 cup whole grain elbow macaroni, uncooked
2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Brown meat with onions and garlic in large skillet; drain. Return meat mixture to skillet.
Add water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, soy sauce and pepper; mix well. Bring to boil, stirring frequently; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 15 to 20 min. or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
Stir in macaroni; cook, covered, 15 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Add cream cheese; cook and stir 3 min. or until completely melted. Sprinkle with cheddar.
Warm up after an outdoor activity this winter with a serving of this hearty and indulgent soup.
Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese and no-salt-added diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano.
Substitute 1-1/2 cups fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth for the water.
