What You Need
Original recipe yields 3 servings
1 oz. (1/8 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 1 small)
2 Tbsp. chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
6 slices cinnamon-swirl bread
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Mix cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl until blended. Stir in bananas and nuts.
Spread cream cheese mixture onto 3 bread slices; cover with remaining bread slices to make 3 sandwiches.
Whisk eggs and milk in pie plate until blended.
Heat heavy large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides of each sandwich with egg mixture. Add to skillet; cook 2 min. on each side or until sandwiches are golden brown on both sides.
Serve with syrup.
Serve with a fresh fruit salad.

If you love cinnamon, double the cinnamon hit by sprinkling the cream cheese mixture on bread slices with additional ground cinnamon before covering with remaining bread slices to make sandwiches. Dip in egg mixture, then cook as directed.
