What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
2 cups flour
2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix eggs and bananas in large bowl until blended. Add sugars and applesauce; mix well. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
Chop 1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate coarsely. Stir into prepared batter along with the nuts before pouring into prepared baking pan and baking as directed.
Prepare using cinnamon applesauce.
