3 cups blackberries
2/3 cup water
1 Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca
2/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sugar, divided
3/4 cup all-purpose baking mix
3 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
3 Tbsp. milk

Combine blackberries, water, tapioca and 2/3 cup sugar in large skillet. Let stand 5 min.

Meanwhile, stir baking mix, sour cream, milk and remaining sugar just until baking mix is moistened.

Bring blackberry mixture to full boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min. or until blackberries begin to soften, stirring frequently.

Spoon dough into 4 mounds over fruit mixture in skillet; cook on medium-high heat 2 min. Cover skillet; cook on low heat 15 min. or until toothpick inserted in dumplings comes out clean. Cool slightly.

Lightly sprinkle mounds of dumpling dough with ground cinnamon, ground allspice or ground cloves before cooking as directed.

Prepare recipe as directed, measuring the blackberries when frozen and increasing the standing time in the first recipe prep step to 10 min.
How to Reheat Any Leftover Blackberry Dumplings
