What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
2 cups KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Let's Make It
Melt butter in medium saucepan on low heat. Add flour; whisk until blended. Cook 2 min. or until hot and bubbly, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk until blended.
Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer on medium-low heat 3 to 5 min. or until thickened, stirring frequently.
Add remaining ingredients; cook and stir 2 min. or until cheddar is completely melted and sauce is well blended.
How to Make Mac and Cheese
Heat oven to 350°F. Cook 1 lb. elbow macaroni or medium shells as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Add pasta to prepared sauce; stir until evenly coated. Spoon into casserole sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 30 min. or until heated through.
Stir 1 tsp. of your favorite variety of GREY POUPON Mustard into the cooked white sauce along with the cheeses and red pepper.
