What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1 frozen puff pastry sheet (1/2 of 17.3-oz. pkg.), thawed
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Camembert cheese wheel
2 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans, toasted
1 egg, beaten

Heat oven to 400°F.
Unfold pastry sheet on lightly floured surface; roll out with rolling pin until slightly flattened.
Unwrap cheese; brush top and side of wheel with mustard. Top with sugar and nuts; press lightly into cheese to secure. Place, nut side down, on center of pastry sheet. Gently fold pastry around cheese to completely enclose cheese, trimming excess pastry if necessary. Press together edges of pastry on top of cheese to seal. Reserve any pastry trimmings for garnish.
Place cheese, seam sides down, on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Use sharp knife to cut desired decorative shapes from pastry trimmings; arrange on top of cheese. Brush with egg.
Bake 15 to 18 min. or until golden brown. Let stand 10 min. before serving.
How to Toast the Pecans
Spread nuts into single layer on baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven 5 to 7 min. or until lightly toasted.
Place warm cheese on cheese board along with assorted crackers, apple slices, pear slices, seedless grape clusters and/or your favorite PLANTERS Nuts.
