6 slices OSCAR MAYER Thick Sliced Center Cut Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
1 onion, chopped
1 head red cabbage (4 inch)
1/2 cup HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Cook and stir bacon in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat 6 to 8 min. or until bacon starts to turn crisp, stirring occasionally. Add onions; cook 5 to 6 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
Meanwhile, cut cabbage lengthwise in half; cut out and remove core. Cut cabbage into 1/4-inch-wide shreds.
Add cabbage to bacon mixture; stir. Mix remaining ingredients until blended. Add to cabbage mixture; mix well. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 55 min. or until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
Prepare using green cabbage.
