Let's Make It
Spray waffle iron with cooking spray. Heat iron to medium heat.
Combine cheese, onions and cilantro; spoon onto 4 tortillas. Cover with remaining tortillas to make 4 quesadillas.
Place 1 quesadilla on waffle iron grid; close lid. Cook 3 to 4 min. or until cheese is melted and quesadilla is lightly browned on both sides. Transfer to cutting board. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
Cut each quesadilla in half. Serve topped with salsa and avocados.
For a touch of heat, prepare using KRAFT Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese.
Tortillas can be filled with cheese, onions and cilantro ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 8 hours. Cook as directed just before serving.
Serve with coleslaw, or a tomato salad dressed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing.
How to Keep the Cooked Quesadillas Warm
Cover the first few cooked quesadillas with foil to keep warm until all 4 quesadillas are cooked.
