2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1-1/2 pkg. (6 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, chopped

Heat oven to 350°F.

Melt white chocolate as directed on package; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and extract; mix well. Stir in melted chocolate. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in chopped semi-sweet chocolate and nuts.

Drop dough by tablespoon, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 12 to 13 min. or until cookies are puffed and tops are slightly shiny. Cool on baking sheets 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of dough, 1-1/2 inches apart, onto prepared baking sheets. Bake in 350°F oven 6 to 7 min. or until cookies are puffed and tops are slightly shiny. Makes 33 servings, 2 cookies each.
