What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1-1/2 cups plus 3 Tbsp. flour, divided
1-1/4 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder, divided
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sugar, divided
7 Tbsp. butter, melted, divided
1 container (8 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4-1/2 tsp. grated gingerroot
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine 1-1/2 cups flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and baking soda. Beat 2/3 cup sugar and 5 Tbsp. butter in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add egg, sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add flour mixture; mix just until moistened. Stir in ginger.
Spoon into 12 paper-lined muffin cups.
Combine all remaining ingredients; spoon over batter in muffin cups.
Bake 18 to 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool muffins 5 min. Remove from pan to wire racks; cool slightly or to room temperature.
Let baked muffins cool slightly, then dust muffin tops with powdered sugar.
