Shake things up a bit with our Roti BBQ Chicken Sandwich Recipe. This BBQ chicken sandwich recipe features a roti bun, a delicious, flour-based flatbread.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp. butter, divided
4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
1/2 cup HEINZ BBQ Sauce Classic Sweet & Thick
4 romaine lettuce leaves
4 KRAFT Big Slice Pepper Jack Cheese Slices
2 plum tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices

Let's Make It
Mix flour, sour cream and water until blended. Add more water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, if necessary until mixture forms soft dough.
Divide dough into 4 balls; roll out each ball into 6-inch oval on lightly floured surface.
Melt 1 Tbsp. butter in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add 2 flatbreads; cook 2 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining butter and flatbreads.
Add chicken to skillet; cook 6 to 7 min. on each side or until done (165°F).
Transfer chicken to cutting board; cut into thin strips. Return to skillet. Stir in barbecue sauce; cook 2 to 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
Top flatbreads with lettuce, cheese, chicken mixture and tomatoes.
If you need to reheat the flatbreads before using as directed, place them on a microwaveable plate and microwave on HIGH 30 sec. or just until warmed.
Serve with fresh fruit to balance out the meal.
